OUR WORKS

Foara aims to eradicate the hindrances that the children face today to a great extent with the support of like-minded partner organizations.

Underprivileged Tribal, Costal, Slum Children Feeding & Education Program

Aimed at Educating children at the most impoverished locations – Tribal, Costal & Slum – Via this program, we feed the poor children with a boiled egg, a banana, and a loaf of sweet bread daily and educate them with the support of our partner organizations/volunteers.

We have volunteers who are willing to improve the educational standards of the children predominantly from slums, coastal areas, and tribal belts, providing tuitions to those in need and addressing the need for training.

Rising Star Program

Many children are deprived of proper training and education in today’s world since they live in backward and impoverished backgrounds.

Aimed at supporting such Academically Advanced Children, we are providing Quality Education & Nutritional Feeding. We will be progressively adding Vocational Training and Tuition Centres for competitive exams as part of our social commitment to our society.

Food for the Hungry Program

Many states in India are hit by natural calamities and due to this, the people in these regions lose even their basic needs like shelter. During floods and sand slides, we have witnessed many families stranded and houses dilapidated. Those affected with these losses find difficulty in meeting their needs of intake of food for their survival.

Aimed at addressing this, Foara provides food and essentials to people who are affected by natural calamities. Kits containing food materials were distributed in Trivandrum & Wayanad (Kerala), Doddigunta (Bangalore-Karnataka), and Sealdah (Kolkata)

Arms of Mercy Program

Foara stands for the overall health and wellbeing of the individual. As a drive towards attaining this objective, FOARA has partnered with local administrations during the Floods in Kerala in coastal strips of Alappuzha District and other flood-affected areas in Palakkad, Wayanad, and Idukki Districts. Addressing the health issues, Foara in association with our partners, coordinated a one-day medical camp at Dodigunta, Karnataka, wherein the people from even the suburban villages turned out and had their health checked and medications provided.

Foara handed over masks, prepared by the Empowered Hands program, to Police at Trivandrum as a step to keep away from the contact of the Pandemic virus. Foara along with other like-minded donors distributed cloths to physically and differently-abled persons in Trivandrum

Empowered Hands Program

We aim to empower women – giving them vocational training to create a livelihood so that they are empowered to stand up for themselves. Women and children are the most deprived sections in the community. Most women do not have proper training and resort to restraining themselves from working in a job that enables them to meet both ends in their lives.

As a part of enabling the women through training for a self-sustainable life, Foara, through its Empowered Hands, started a tailoring school, mask making unit, and handbag making unit; and plans to extend the training where the women can earn a decent income by undergoing training in producing various items like pickles and other food products and other income-generating programs.

Nest Program

To provide those who stay in an unsecured dilapidated shelter, Foara along with the community groups and local administrative machinery are planning to assist them with resources that can make a change in their lives and give them peace of mind and sleep under safe and secure homes, We have identified quite a number of very needy beneficiaries and this program can be executed with like-minded people from the community at large.

We invite your cordial and generous support financially and in-kind so that we can provide proper shelter to our brothers.
